Trauma-Informed Behaviour Support
Understanding Behaviour Through Safety, Relationships and Regulation
10:00 am – 3:00 pm AEST
Professional Development Workshop
Behaviour does not occur in isolation. Experiences of trauma, adversity, disrupted relationships, chronic stress and environments that feel unpredictable or unsafe can influence how children and young people respond to the world around them.
Trauma-Informed Behaviour Support shifts the focus from simply trying to stop behaviour to understanding what may be happening for the person and creating the conditions needed for safety, connection, regulation and participation.
